Rifat Alam is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of California, Davis. She completed her medical degree in Bangladesh and obtained her MS and PhD in Community Health from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Alam's research focuses on identifying modifiable factors and social determinants of cognitive aging and Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias, aiming to advance dementia equity among historically underrepresented and culturally diverse populations.
