Mary Beth Lacy is a post-doctoral fellow at UCSF in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She earned a BA, BBA, and MPH from the University of Georgia and a PhD in Epidemiology from Brown University. Her research focuses on diabetes, aging, and disparities. She has expertise working with large-scale clinical data as well as cohort data. She is currently collaborating with Dr. Rachel Whitmer on a number of projects to better understand the role of glycemic control on aging and cognition using data from the Study of Longevity in Diabetes (SOLID).
