Emely is a second year undergraduate at UC Davis. She is currently majoring in Biological Sciences and has an interest in minoring in public health.  She is a part of the Biology Undergraduate Scholars Program and the Advancing Diversity in Aging Research Program at UC Davis. Having been exposed to different family members with dementia and left with unanswered questions, her research interests revolve around aging, with a special focus on dementia and cognitive functions.
