Christina brings a breadth of perspectives from her local and global health academic and professional work. She has done extensive work in areas of sexual/reproductive and minority health with organizations like the World Health Organization, Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She is most passionate about people and their health, and the social risk factors that affect their well being over the course of life. Christina believes that we all have the right to health, especially equitable health, and achieving this depends on collectively addressing health disparities through an intersectional and lifecourse approach. As a doctoral student, she is interested in investigating the longitudinal effects of cognitive health status and the risk for dementia among underrepresented minorities.
