Dr. Jason Flatt is an Assistant Professor at the UCSF School of Nursing, Institute for Heath and Aging. He is a researcher, teacher and passionate about health education and improving the health and opportunities for vulnerable communities including persons at risk or living with Alzheimer’s disease. A major focus of his research is understanding risk and related risk factors for dementia among sexual and gender minority (LGBTQI) older adults. His research is currently supported by the National Institutes of Health, Administration for Community Living, Health Resources and Services Administration, California Health Care Foundation, and UCSF.
